Whether you’re joining us for a sunset dinner, Sunday brunch, or cocktails by the firepit, we want your visit to S3—Sun, Surf & Sand—to be seamless from start to finish. Below, you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions about reservations, parking, dress code, entertainment, and more to help you plan your perfect oceanfront dining experience.

Reservations & Seating

Do you take reservations?

Yes, reservations are highly recommended. You can make a reservation here.

Can I call ahead?

Unfortunately, we do not. Guests can check in at the host stand to leave their name and guest count. You are welcome to wait at our bar or outside the firepit area. You can make a reservation on our reservations page or by calling our team.

Do you take walk-ins?

Absolutely. You are more than welcome to walk-in but making a reservation will guarantee you a table at requested time. You can make a reservation here.

What if I’m running late for a reservation?

We hold the table for 15 minutes. Seating time may change upon late arrival. Please call and let us know when you are running late.

Do you accommodate large parties?

We can accommodate parties of 15 or less. Any parties over 15 guests are encouraged to visit our private events page to contact our events department at 954-525-9001.

Food, Drink & Entertainment

Do you have happy hour?

Happy hour is Monday-Friday from 4pm to 7pm at the bar & fire pit area only. Seats are first come. Small plate appetizers and reduced priced drinks are offered. View our happy hour menu here.

When is live entertainment?

We have a DJ Friday & Saturday, 5pm – 10pm and Sundays, 1pm – 5pm.

Do you offer brunch?

We have bottomless Bloody Marys & Mimosas available tableside, as well as a feature menu of bottles of champagne and rosé. View our brunch menu here.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

While we don’t have a dedicated gluten-free or vegetarian menu, we strive to accommodate dietary restrictions with the chef’s approval.

How late is the kitchen open?

Sunday – Tuesday 10pm, Wednesday and Thursday 11pm, Friday and Saturday 12am.

How late is the bar open?

The bar at S3 remains open for 45 minutes after the kitchen closes according to business, providing you with ample time to unwind and enjoy your favorite drinks. Hours may vary based on business, so please check with our staff for the most accurate closing times during your visit!

Celebrations & Special Requests

Can I bring a cake?

Yes, absolutely, you’re welcome to bring your own cake to celebrate special occasions! We charge a $3 dessert fee per guest to ensure your cake is presented beautifully and served with care.

Do you have a corkage fee?

Yes, we charge a $25 corkage fee per bottle for guests who wish to bring their own wine. Please note that the wine must not be on our existing wine menu. This allows you to enjoy a unique selection while still experiencing our exceptional dining atmosphere.

Dress Code & Guest Policies

Is there a dress code?

Seaside casual-chic, to embody our relaxed yet stylish atmosphere.

For all our esteemed guests-  beachwear, bikinis, see-through cover-ups, and athletic apparel are asked to be left for your beach day. (we love fun in the sun too..)

S3 reserves the right to deny entry.

Do you have automatic gratuity?

Yes, for parties of 5 or more 18% gratuity will be applied.

Parking & Location

Where do I park?

Valet parking is at the Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort. Lunch & Brunch: $8 for up to 2 hours and Dinner: $10 for up to 3 hours with validation.

After 3+ hours Hilton fees apply, and no validation can be used.

Is S3 located on Las Olas Boulevard?

Not quite. S3 is located just steps from Las Olas at the at the Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton resort right along A1A. While it’s not directly on Las Olas Boulevard, it’s close enough to explore before or after your meal.

Can I walk to Las Olas from S3?

Yes! Las Olas Boulevard is just a short walk or quick drive from S3. Many guests enjoy pairing their dining experience with a stroll along the shops and galleries on Las Olas.

What’s the best way to get to Las Olas from S3?

You can easily take a short rideshare, bike, or even the Sun Trolley from Fort Lauderdale Beach to Las Olas. It’s a scenic and convenient ride if you’d rather not walk.
